Kostikovait\u0117 noted that during the four years of her term as a cultural attach\u00e9, the need for contemporary cultural content had arisen. The events focused on the virtual content distribution have become very important, particularly during the on-going pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lnb.lt\/lituanistika\/files\/2021\/04\/blog_thumbnail_UK-cultural-attache.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.lnb.lt\/lituanistika\/files\/2021\/04\/blog_thumbnail_UK-cultural-attache.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blog.lnb.lt\/lituanistika\/files\/2021\/04\/blog_thumbnail_UK-cultural-attache-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.lnb.lt\/lituanistika\/files\/2021\/04\/blog_thumbnail_UK-cultural-attache-250x167.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 85vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>While in the office, Kostikovait\u0117 was able to introduce new communication tools now used by almost the entire network of Lithuanian cultural attach\u00e9s. One of them is an e-newsletter, which helps to inform the audience about Lithuania. There is also a huge array of archival and communication material in social media, such as a <em>Facebook<\/em> \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LithuanianArtAndCultureUK\">Lithuanian Art and Culture in the UK<\/a>,\u201d <em>Twitter<\/em>\u2014\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ltcultureuk\">@LtCultureUK<\/a>,\u201d and <em>Instagram<\/em>\u2014\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lithuanian_art_uk\/\">lithuanian_art_in_the_uk<\/a>,\u201d created and administered by Kostikovait\u0117.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kostikovait\u0117 also noted that in recent years there has been a great need to form a digital archive of cultural and other special attach\u00e9s, which currently contains a large number of material on dissemination and documentation of the events.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The archive of Just\u0117 Kostikovait\u0117, the cultural attach\u00e9 of the Republic of Lithuania in the United Kingdom, covering the period from 2016 to 2020, has arrived at the National Library of Lithuania.
